For me painting is a form of self expression. After completing my Diploma in Art Studies in 1985, a small group of graduates formed Thursday Painters. We painted twice a month at various locations around Perth. This group lasted for 25 years. In studying History of Art, I found that I could relate myself to the various artists and movements in art. Travelling around Australia for 5 months with my husband, reinforced my feelings for the love of nature and the land. I am a member of the Perth Plein Air Painters and the WA Arts Society.  I have been in several group exhibitions and continue to enjoy this necessary part of my life.

Painting “Balls for Will”, has been fun and something different that I have enjoyed doing.
