Belinda Rogers
Belinda Rogers paints from her studio in Montsalvat and is represented by the Manyung Gallery with works currently showcased in Malvern, Sorrento and Mt Eliza Galleries.
Belinda exhibits extensively with a large interest from philosophers and art lovers, recently awarded first prize in painting in the Murrindindi Art Award, 2015.
Her work has been referenced as “breaking light”. Belinda often paints an image in a reflection of it’s true self, offering water as a mediation between the conscious and unconscious self.
A published poet, her poems cut away at the fabric of word, leaving her audience with a sense of resonance and mystery. Having worked as an acupuncturist for many years and as a devoted student of zen philosophy, her work dwells within the mystery and beauty of these ancient traditions.
Belinda has been widley represented by the media, including Art Collector magazine, COAST magazine, Yarra Valley and Ranges magazine and in June 2016 featured in the Melbourne Weekly Review.
Her work is exhibiting in local and international shows in 2016.
