About this role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative individual to initially care for one very special young person with daily business and social activities to help build their confidence and enjoyment of every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and facilitate personal care plans
  • Provide direct support of the individuals in care and help achieve their goals
  • Document the day’s activities and other administrative tasks

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience in working with people with Autism an advantage
  • Experience in the disability sector would be highly desirable
  • Experience working with complex support needs
  • Experience in implementing behaviour support plans
  • Proactive approach to supporting individuals with special needs
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to complete certification
  • Criminal History Police Check / Working With Children Check – Current and/or wiliness to undergo check
  • Current Driver’s license valid in Australia
  • Own vehicle for use of work purposes
